Youth in juvenile detention seek to help peers outside their walls
ServiceWorks at the United Way of Greater St. Louis
recently hosted a cohort at The St. Louis Juvenile Detention Center. The 10 program participants, who are currently part of the juvenile justice system, drew from their own experiences to brainstorm community needs and discuss ways in which they can use their passions and talents to meet those needs.
