March 2nd Cyclones around the OKC Community

SEE (7th and 8th Grade Service Education Experience) Period:  The culminating seventh and eighth grade SEE period was a participation in the Andrew Johnson's elementary school's yearly carnival.

Throughout the year students interact with Andrew Johnson Elementary School students as reading buddies.

For the Carnival, each seventh and eighth-grade advisory organized and facilitated a carnival booth game or activity on Thursday, March 2nd.

Casady students exemplified excellence, confidence, and integrity in The Village community.

Members of Casady's Government and Politics class traveled to the capitol on Thursday, March 2nd to participate in Interfaith Alliance support of Muslim Day at the Capitol.

Muslim Day at the Capitol is organized by CAIR (Council for American Islamic Relations) and is part education, part advocacy, and part celebration.

Casady students listened to speakers, observed prayer, spoke with a variety of advocacy groups, met with State Representative Cyndi Munson (District) 85, and explored the galleries of the house and senate chambers.
