Casady YAC Cyclones will have a webcast with students from Peru who received bookmarks and funding for literacy enhancement through the Students Rebuild Literacy Challenge. Cyclones sent 8,434 bookmarks to help meet the goal of 300,000 bookmarks. The Bezos Family Foundation donated $1.00 per bookmark made.

The Casady YAC team will work with Global Nomads Group who will make sure the tech works correctly and that Cyclones are prepared to participate. The Global Nomads Group added a section about Peru to the Bezos Foundation Family lesson resources online which Cyclones will have the opportunity to review before the webcast.
