GIRL RISING SCREENING:

Rachel Christie, Casady sixth grader, stated, "Girl Rising is an AWESOME MOVIE everyone should see."  The movie is the centerpiece of 10x10 – a global campaign to educate and empower girls. A portion of Girl Rising ticket sales go to support girls’ programs around the world through the 10x10 Fund for Girls’ Education. The Fund goes to 10x10’s high-impact network of non-profit partners and leaders in girls’ education: A New Day Cambodia, CARE, Girl Up/United Nations Foundation, Partners in Health, Plan International USA, Room to Read, UNICEF, and World Vision.

Girl Rising screenings need to sell 100 tickets to make it. Purchase your ticket online at @ http://gathr.us/

REFLECT THE MOVIE OVER DESSERT @ Johnnies or at home.  Ben and Jerry's Volunteer ice cream flavors are exclusively sold at Target stores.
A Couple of Reflective Questions after the movie:
a. What are the common barriers for the girls' education?
b. How can we be an instrument of girls' education empowerment?
