President’s Volunteer Service Award

Award is a Prestigious National Honor for Volunteer Service

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma – Casady School announced today it has awarded 35 volunteers with the President’s Volunteer Service Award, a national honor offered in recognition of volunteer service. Award eligibility for individuals and groups is based on hour requirements varying by age.  The Award is issued by the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation.
The Casady School Community Service-Learning Program confers the award to recognize the outstanding achievements of its volunteers. Volunteers work to make our communities stronger and safer. Volunteers bring us closer together as families, as communities and as a Nation.  "Casady encourages students to be entrepreneurs of peace and social change finding their passion to serve the community.   The Casady recipients of the President’s Volunteer Service Award are servant role models. Each volunteer hour contributed is an opportunity for personal growth and stronger, safer and kinder communities," stated Carmen Clay, Rainbolt Family Service-Learning Chair.
