Casady School hosted 3,300 participants and more than 500 volunteers to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the ISAS Arts Festival! Casady School was one of the founding members of the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest Fine Arts Festival. Casady hosted Wichita Collegiate and Holland Hall for the first Festival in 1967.
After nearly two years of planning this year's anniversary celebration, Casady hosted the grand event, which featured performances, workshops, adjudication, and more by the students, as well as an incredible 50th Anniversary Bash. The celebration event included fireworks, a 1967 music revival by the bands from Riverfield Country Day School in Tulsa, an 800-person mass choir and more.
The ISAS Arts Festival was a three-day spring event that features work by more than 3,000 upper school students representing 40 independent schools from six states. The ISAS Festival is recognized as the nation's premiere regional Arts Festival for high school students.

ISAS Tidbits- 20,000 meals were served.
- 3,000 students participated.
- 300 chaperones and faculty accompanied the students.
- 40 different schools attended.
- 6 states were represented.
- 85 charter buses shuttled students and faculty to Casady School.
- Every school was represented with a flag around the Casady Lake.
- Pow-wow Dancers and Apache Crown Dancers from Riverside Indian School in Anadarko greeted guests.
- 800 students participated in mass choir during Friday night 50th Anniversary Celebration.
- Fireworks show at celebration event.
- Riverfield Rocks Band from the Riverfield Country Day School in Tulsa performed at 50th celebration.
- Master violinist conducted a master class as one of the workshops.
- Cyclone Express bus served as large mural for participants to paint.
- $5,000 in proceeds from t-shirt sales has been directed to Oklahoma City Public Schools Performing and Visual Arts Program.
- 1,000 nametags were printed and placed in lanyards.
- 570 volunteers.
- 4,950 volunteer hours.
As the ISAS 50th Arts Festival comes to a close, students from Greenhill School in Addison Texas, say it best with the giant Lite Brite.
